When an attendee registers for an event on Eventleaf.com, their information can be saved to a Lead in Salesforce. This guide will walk you through configuring the connection between your event and Salesforce account.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Event > Integrations > Salesforce.

  2. Check the Enable Salesforce Integration checkbox.
  3. Configure your Salesforce account to allow Eventleaf integration by following the instructions:

    1. Log in to your Salesforce account.
    2. Navigate to Platform Tools > Apps > App Manager.

    3. Click the New Connected App button.

    4. Enter a name for the app, such as 'Eventleaf', in the Connected App Name field and the Contact Email that you would like to use.

    5. In the API (Enable OAuth Settings) section, check Enable OAuth Settings, set the Callback URL to 'callback:none', set the Selected OAuth Scopes to Full access (full) and uncheck the Require Secret for Web Server Flow checkbox.

    6. Save the settings and click Continue.
    7. Navigate to Platform Tools > Apps > App Manager.
    8. Locate the Eventleaf app that you created and select View from the dropdown button list at the end of the row.

    9. Click Manage.

    10. Click Edit Policies.

    11. Set IP Relaxation to 'Relax IP restrictions'.

    12. Navigate to Platform Tools > Apps > App Manager.
    13. Locate the Eventleaf app that you created and select View from the dropdown button list at the end of the row.
    14. Note the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret that are displayed in the first line of the API (Enable OAuth Settings) section.

  4. Click the Connect button and enter the connection details obtained from Step 3-14.

  5. The connection status should now say "CONNECTED".
  6. Map the Eventleaf registration form fields to the Salesforce Lead record fields.

  7. Click Send Test Data to send a test record to your Salesforce account. After sending the data, check your Salesforce account and verify that a Lead has been created.

Configuration is complete and future registrations will be pushed to your Salesforce account.
