Print Studio 2.0 Increases Zebra Thermal Printer Performance by 10x

SAN CARLOS, Calif. – April 22, 2005 – Jolly Technologies unveils a new technology that drastically accelerates printing on Zebra thermal printers. The technology uses a combination of native printer support and intelligent imaging routines to provide performance gains of up to 10 times normal printer performance. Unlike other software that requires the installation of third party drivers and additional software packages to achieve performance gains, Print Studio 2.0 automatically detects the printer type and provides improved performance without any user interaction. The upgrade will be available as a free download to existing Print Studio 2.0 users.

The release further illustrates Jolly Technologies devotion to the printing industry and their dedication to providing powerful software that is easy to use. Print Studio 2.0 supports all Microsoft Windows compatible thermal printers, including Zebra / Eltron, Datamax, Intermec, and more. The native printer optimizations are currently available for Zebra and Eltron EPL2 based thermal printers with native support for other vendors available in an upcoming release.
