Jolly Announces Support for Zebra Technologies' UHF RFID Printers
Jolly Adds Support for Printing UHF Labels and Plastic Cards to its Industry Leading People Identification and Tracking Products

SAN CARLOS, Calif. – Mar 22, 2012 – Today Jolly Technologies - a Zebra Technologies ISV partner - announced support for Zebra's line of ultra high frequency (UHF) RFID label and card printers from Zebra Technologies, a recognized global leader in enabling technologies that extend visibility into operations. The combination of Jolly software and Zebra printers allows for the production of UHF labels and cards that offer many benefits over older technologies including lower cost and the ability to identify people and track assets at greater distances.

Using Jolly Lobbytrack software with Zebra card printers and UHF cards permits a visitor to be issued an ID card and check in in upon arrival. As the visitor moves through a facility, their location can be monitored in real-time using strategically placed UHF readers. When the visitor leaves the facility, they are automatically checked out and their visit details are logged.

"Advancing the power and range of people identification and management applications is essential for businesses looking to maximize safety, security and convenience for employees, guests and customers,"said Michael Fein, technical product manager, Zebra Technologies. "Through the combination of Zebra's new UHF Gen 2 RFID card, Zebra card printers with UHF encoding, and Jolly's Lobbytrack software, organizations now have the ability to identify people with greater range and increased reliability, while offering sophisticated security features."

Jolly's other products enable UHF labels and ID cards to be used for a number of purposes. For example, Jolly's Event Track software can be used in conjunction with Zebra's printer and UHF cards to issue event badges to admit attendees, allowing the event production staff to track attendance without requiring badges be scanned individually by a handheld scanner.

When used with Jolly's Asset Track, Zebra's UHF tags can greatly simplify the process of taking inventory. Companies can quickly process all assets in a room as well as track hard-to-reach assets that cannot be scanned by hand such as HVAC units and items inside locked or otherwise inaccessible areas.
