"Because our label and card printing needs are so diverse,
it was critical that we find a powerful yet flexible label software
solution. Print Studio 2.0 has exceeded our expectations in all
respects."
Joel Renda

About Seminole County Public Schools
Located in Central Florida, Seminole County Public Schools is one
of the largest school districts in Florida, supporting more than
7,000 employees and over 61,000 students. Charged with providing
printing services for the entire district's needs, the printing
department is constantly on the lookout for productivity-enhancing
tools.
Challenge
The existing design programs did not provide the flexibility to
produce the types of ID cards, forms, labels, documents and business
cards required with the quick turnaround times demanded. Seminole
County Schools was seeking a single application that would allow
their users to design and print multiple-up documents quickly
and easily. The ability to integrate with their existing databases
to import data and graphics onto forms and labels was essential.
Solution
Print Studio provided the ability to respond to district requirements
to produce forms and documents of all types including ID cards,
business cards, mailing labels and more -- generally the same
day. Print Studio's ease of use was crucial in getting non-tech
savvy staff up to speed quickly, enabling them to produce sophisticated
documents without any specialized training or lengthy learning
curve. In addition, Print Studio's ability to connect directly
to the district's existing database saved the district critical
funds by eliminating what would have been costly man-hours associated
with re-entering data.
Benefits
- Short learning curve for staff
- Ability to produce all types of professional documents including
ID cards, labels, business cards and more
- Able to connect to existing databases
- Compatibility with existing hardware and software
In Summary
"Print Studio is a unique program that is as if it were customer designed," says
Mr. Renda.
