Challenge
As GRS employees manage client facilities with restricted access, the ability to identify GRS employees to their clients is a must. GRS was rapidly outgrowing their existing ID card software that offered only basic design options, limited barcode support, and required GRS to enter their employee information into the ID card's proprietary database.

GRS needed a solution that would allow them to create hi-tech photo ID cards that would be more difficult to duplicate than their current cards, work with their new ID card printer and be able to pull data from their existing MySQL employee database.

Solution
GRS found Print Studio Premier Edition to be exactly what they were looking for. After researching many possible options on the Internet, Print Studio clearly stood out in a class of it's own.

Using Print Studio, GRS redesigned their ID cards to include a watermark effect, the employees photo and other vital information, as well as a 2D PDF417 barcode that can be scanned at client facilities. The cards are printed and laminated in-house.
