Whiteville City School District tracks student activity with ID Flow software

North Carolina's Whiteville City School District includes 5 schools from elementary to high school levels. Since the 1940's, the district has grown to over 500 hundred employees responsible for the education of 2,600 students.

Whiteville City Schools needed added security throughout the district. Each school had its own system for identifying employees and no identification for students. This led to a situation where the only real means of identification came to recognition.

With a limited budget, Whiteville needed a means to centrally print and manage identification of all schools without having to invest in a printer at each school.

After trying several other ID card software options, ID Flow was the only software to meet Whiteville's needs without major modifications. The live database connection saves time by allowing the school to use the student's school picture without importing each individually. They were able to create a directory pulling photos from different sources.

The multiple barcoding options have allowed Whiteville to utilize the student badges for lunch purchases and to check out library books. ID Flow's conditional layering capability allows Whiteville to create customized badges for each student and staff member, including color-coding by simply interfacing with the state's central database.

Finally, ID Flow was the only software to immediately work correctly with the card printer, saving productivity and time.
