Children of Grace creates ID badges with ID Flow software

The mission of Children of Grace is to provide hope, love, education and a future to children left orphaned by the AIDS epidemic in Uganda. Children of Grace does so by paying school fees, providing health care and nutrition and spearheading empowerment programs.

To further these objectives, the organization runs initiatives to help the condition of the schools, institutes lunch and computer programs.

Children of Grace has taken on the health care, education and nutrition expenses for 1,000 Ugandan orphans. Without ID badges, the only means to ensure the child's care was to accompany him/her to the programs.

If the child was to attempt attendance without a badge or accompaniment, they would often have to wait for extended periods of time and/or not receive the care they needed. To ensure the benefits of their program, a staff member or volunteer would have to accompany the child to each visit. This is a costly and impossible task that limits the ability of the organization to accomplish their initiatives.

ID Flow has allowed Children of Grace to provide identification for each of the 1,000 students in the program. With the limited resources of a small staff, these ID badges allow students to get the care they need without the accompaniment of a staff member. Thus, the staff can focus on their other objectives and ensure that the children receive the care they need.

These badges allow healthcare facilities, nutritional programs and schools to disseminate which children are covered by Children of Grace's initiatives. This expedites the child's access to these services.
